right ok last saturday was by far the worst day i have had this year!

i was djin for a wedding i had in a very well known and poss hotel in cheshire.

i had to arrive at 8am for a setup as i was also a quest of the wedding.

i took my suit jacket off and the manager said he would put it behind the bar in the back as in the room was all the satff setting up the tables.

so i setup and 35 mins later i ask for my jacket so i could go to the church only to find out it had been pinched.

so the police were informed as it was confirmed by the managment that it could only been a member of staff and also that the cctv camera which pointed at the jacket was fake.

then later that night i start to pack away and go out to the car only to find i had a flat tire so out comes the spare and just as i take the flat one off the jack collapsed and sent the car down on my leg:bang:

the fire bregard got called and had to come and lift the car off my leg which was the nicest feeling :D

so not a great day but now the hotel have agreed to compensate me for all me lose on the jacket and the money in the pocket and the in laws digital camera!

oh what a :Censored: night!

Hiya Sted,

Sorry to hear about this nightmare day.

On the matter of the jacket, I'd personally have taken it off & left it in my vehicle rather than leaving it somewhere at the venue...but we live & learn!

legs of broken a few toes lol

and i only took it off in the venue and didnt want it moved so the manager suggested to to out it in the back.

my brand new shoes saved my foot the paramedic said as they saved my foot as the leather held the tire or something!

and they had to lift as it would of been damages if not taken safetly

I know this is probably a silly question but why did you have your leg under the car while you were changing the wheel? :)
