Halloween is very Soon. Has anyone been asked to dress up at any gigs.

With Halloween coming up im sure many of us have gigs on. Now the question is how many people have been asked to dress up for it.

I was thinking i could go as myself because i could scare people just by looking at them :D

But i thought a little creativity wouldnt go a miss. So if you was going to halloween party and been asked to dress up. Who would you go as yourself, Do you look like any character out of any halloween movie.

I think i look like PUGSLEY out of the Addams Family. :p :D

yeah we've been asked to dress up for a 21st, got a grim reaper outfit that didn't fit, oops. so now going to get a pair of those decorating overalls, splash red paint up them and wear an ice hockey goalkeepers mask, cant find a chainsaw tho, well not yet anyway........

I invariably get kids parties on/around Hallowe'en and so have a bit of a stock of costumes.

I've also got oversized bright orange pumpkin T-shirts that we wear during setup in place of the more usual black polos

Got a 40th this year though - not sure how to play it yet, but they're having spooky lighting (lots of blue uplighters, UV and smoke), graphics and "a few" hallowe'en tunes so who knows :o

It's funny you should mention that, because I'm doing a Halloween disco on Friday 30th at the pub where I do my Thursday quiz night, and I was chatting to the landlady about it tonight...and the first thing she said was "You've got to dress up" :bang:

As I've mentioned before, I HATE dressing up...not because I'm a party pooper, but because I get very hot when I'm working, and when I'm wearing a costume, wig, mask etc it's even worse.

I need to come up with something simple that I can get away with, but that won't restrict me or make me hot.

I'm at my local on Halloween like I am every year. I've had 4 enquiries in the past fortnight for Halloween. It's always great at my local as they go all out and transform the place into a haunted house and everyone dresses up. They do vodka jellies and 'bush tucker trial' type competitions too as well as the fancy dress competition. This year I am doing Alternative Karaoke there.

I bought a 'Chatter' mask for last year (character from Hellraiser) and it scared the **** out of people but it was really hot and claustrophobic so this year I am going as......Uncle Fester!
