Hi everyone.

I'm Mick. Have just started DJ-ing, largely as a result of 2 good mates having successfully done it recently and recommending it to me. Have played guitar in a gigging band for a couple of years (having actually played for 20ish years) and really love all types of music, hence my decision to have a go at this - I do feel I have something positive to offer.

Really good to see the friendly nature of this forum, where sharing of good ideas, advice and help & assistance is common place. I honestly thought this would be a really competitive hobby - it's good to see that, on this forum at least, it isn't like that. Looking forward to getting involved in discussions.

Thanks for that though, with also having a 3 year old, that's exactly what I'm expecting from now on in (though mine seems to prefer 6am rather than 7.00)!
