Hi guys, I'm completely in the dark when it comes to playing music video's as well as music from my Cortex. I am looking at getting either a projector or an LCD screen(s) to hang from trussing behind or above me. Basically I have a laptop too and run Virtual DJ 6 for the point of it being backup, but I want to use this to play video's every few tracks and also wedding pics, and basically advertise the disco every now and again if you know what I mean. When I used to do bars with plasmas everywhere I would link an S-Video cable to the distribution box and especially on new years eve I would have a video with the tracks over the countdown etc that would run for 20 mins or whatever, I used winamp to broadcast that. This is going back 4 years and now I need to know how to do it properley and the best way. Im looking at getting 2 screens as my preferred option. The main questions are :

Am I best using Virtual DJ to play the video's and does it have a way that once the video finishes it will display happy birthday jeremy on the screen or whatever.

What cables to I need from my lapton to the lcd screen, and what if I have 2 screens !!

Where do I buy the music video's from and how much are they, I have seen some DJ's playing video's just ripped from music television.

Have you got £10 to lend me, ONLY JOKING !!!

Thanks for your help in advance. Moochos Grassy Asse
