Projector Stand/Table

For you guys who use projectors. What do you sit the projectors on?

Ive found the ones pictured below, but not sure if im keen on them.

What do you think (and not of the woman ;) )?

How well do they fold up Daz, if at all?

Space is tight until HMRC get ther finger out and refund me so i can get a van.

I use a small table then put a black cloth over it, most venues have them! :D

Mine doesn't really fold. The top folds slightly but not all the way in and the feet come off if needs be.

Im thinking that my poseur table and lycra cloth may be useable.

Is this for music videos or just for slideshows?

I have my projector mounted on a powerdrive T-bar which is then rigged onto the truss with O-Clamps so it creates a boom arm out from the truss to give the projector ample distance to have a decent size image on the screen.

Mine is hung from a t-bar rear projected onto my showercurtain which is hung from my goal post.

Rear projection using either a stack of empty flightcases OR a bracket that I fashioned from a few strips of thin steel plate and one of those 'top-hat' thingies that pops on top of a speaker stand.

I should ahve been more specific. Its for slideshows, where the projector, and screen is seperate to the dj set-up (not far away, just off to oneside usually (thats the plan anyway)). :)

Flightcases with black tat on them or flying brackets for truss.

I use a table like in post 1. However I have adapted it by changing the top shelf using some MDF so it is the same size as the footprint of the legs. I then have a pleated cloth going round and the top is covered with black carpet. Basically it looks like a tall table, but I find it really practical for slideshows as can leave a small laptop on the lower shelf and it is covered. I got the table off ebay for a fiver and cost me about £10 for the rest.

I really fancy one of the uplit tables like DMC was showing. I think this would look great for the projector and no fear of people 'bumping' into it.
