Well yes and no. I heard a load of Northern Soul and that was about it! Craig Charles used to (may still do?) do a soul and funk show on Radio London. It did make me laugh though when he just walked out half way through with a box of 12" to go and cop off with that old lady and a bottle of Tequila!!!!

cant of been as bad as the inbetweeners one when they went to a disco at a camping park. Rope lights, lightscreens and everyone moaning how rubbish it was. The DJ looked like Bill Bailey!

The thing is, that's nearly always how a mobile disco is presented on TV - no wonder the public perception is more negative than positive!
At least with Corrie yesterday, it was made clear that he wasn't a professional DJ, and he was doing it for free.
