Bet that got your attention. :D I've been trying to upgrade my hated Nokia 6300 for a while now. I wanted a 6500 like my son got a few months ago, but Orange informed me it's no longer available from them. :bang: All they'd offer me were variations of the 6300 style of phone for free, and everything else cost money. Carphone warehouse offered something close to upgrade, but again wanted money. :( :( I just spent a time in the store exploring options, and not finding a suitable answer. Amazingly, Orange would have given me an old model Blackberry free:eek: but it's not the phone for me. :(
So what's a bloke to do? Well, I looked at changing provider and starting a new contract to get the phone I wanted, and Vodafone would give me what I wanted free, for what I'm now paying a month, with double the minutes included. :D So I rang Orange again, and told them I was thinking of leaving, and the deal Vodafone were offering. What happens? Orange offer me the phone I wanted, same price per month, more minutes, and free insurance. Reeeeeeeeeesult!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
As of thursday, I'll have an N86 to play with. :D :D :D :D
