I hope this is in the right section?

I have just had the tax renewal for my van.
This is the first time I have had to renew the tax for a van and on the form it asks for a Goods Vehicle Test certificate.
I have had a look on the web for a simple answer but with no straight answer.

Do I need a certificate; its only a SWB Renault Trafic?

Many thanks for you help.

No you need a regular Private/Light Goods tax disc, same as a car.

Goods vehicle is above 7.5 tonne I believe.......unless you use a lot of gear for big rigs....and I mean big....:D

Correct. Mine's a 3.5 Tonner, and apart from having a few less MOT stations to choose from, even it's a standard MOT.

That’s a relief, one less thing to worry about!
Thanks for your help.
