It appears to be that a lot of venues are bringing forward Halloween party week early.

Something strange is going on.

Half term is Oct 26th to Oct 30th around here so a lot of schools and families are doing parties on the 23rd/24th in order to work in with holidays.

That is nearly always the case though. Halloween normally falls in the kids holidays.

Yeah, it just seems weirder this year because it's right at the end of the holiday so people are going 1 week either way. I almost got booked for the local junior school for Sunday the 1st Nov?? Luckily they didn't go for it in the end, I think that would have been a bad idea.

I have done 4 halloween parties this week all ready and another on Thursday before the school breaks up.

Then 3 over 30/31st

Then I guess it will be Easter parties!!!

Traditional for me , 31st October , Halloween gig , I will be taking my new 50" black spider :eek: and some stretchy web things with small spiders to hang from places.

great time to get the old Goth clothes out ( if they fit :D )

I had a themed night booked-School then tell me I have to go to bloody Devon, so I have found them a replacment, they were happy with.

My gigs are the wrong way around next weekend.

I have a Halloween party on Friday 30th and a 50th Birthday on the night of Halloween!

Just back in from a halloween party,great night everyone was up for a good spooky time,good to see that so many went to the bother of dressing up for the party.
