It seemed like a great idea when it arrived earlier in the year, but now its getting wintery it needs cleaning if I even move it a nanomillometer (well it did with the summer we had too).

Has anyone else made the mistake of going white?

Oh it looks the business when clean, it just looks dirty when not (stating the obvious but hey).

It is currently sat on the drive looking ace after 2 hours of hard graft. Fly squash on white seems worse than ever. It is going to rain tonight, so thats buggered it again.

I've never had a white car, but I've had white vans for the last 17 years, and I really like them. I don't think I'd want a van in any other colour.

Yes, they show the dirt more than other colours, so you might need to wash them a bit more, but is that REALLY a problem?

Not really its just a pain in the backside. The roadshows 4X4 is black and thats as bad to be honest.

Maybe we could all petition for less rain! :)

Good idea! :D

You could be onto something there. It would explain why 95% of all vans are white!

Not all the other colours but its cheaper than the metallics and pearls. Same price as solid black and red.

Not sure about on vans though but would suspect it is the cheapest colour.

Metallic paints are far more expensive as they require double the work, basecoat then lacquer.....then there's the polishing etc.

white is as bad as black I have found. my van is dark blue and does quite well in hiding the dirty.

The colour of your vehicle can have a significant impact on your insurance premiums too - especially rare models.
