Yep! It's just across the road, it;'s where we deal with potato farmers from Lincoln :p :D

It's quite good fun zooming in on that map in - esp in satellite view.... I think one member seems to live on a motorway :D

West Riding of Yorkshire folk leave their dreary and drab environment in Summer, to head for the seaside. To do this they clog up the road outside my house, which is the bottleneck from three motorways. :bang:

When asked how long they'll be staying at the seaside:
"I've come for t' weekend" .:coat: :run:

Ah... similar to the little old lady trying to get on a bus with her OAP bus pass before rush hour is officially over: fondly called a twirlly/twirl-ee/twirly because she's too early for her pass to be valid ;)

Thanks for the explanation. :D

No probs. We have Twirlies round here, too.

I've always fancied a little house on the beach so I've changed my location to right on the water. Bring your swimming cossies....I'll get the BBQ ready. :d

As long as your pin is added in the general location of your address, it doesn't really matter where it lands.

Surely it's easy to get it in exactly the right place by zooming right in on the map first?

That's what I did.

On the satellite one it shows you as being in a tree

And what's wrong with that?

It didn't do Tarzan any harm!

Shaun, you appear to be IN the water :)

Please, no...I'm still trying to erase the image of you in my pool from my memory

Never thought to zoom in.

I appear to be living in a hedge at the end of a cul-de-sac close to the high school I went to.

I think I will move!

Edit - Done - thats better. Actually the satellite image is fairly recent!

Not in my area they aren't.

Not in my area they aren't.

My area looks like it was done in June or July this year.

We're sitting in the garden on a nice summer's day :p

Have to say I'm a bit disappointed that submissions to the map seem to have dried up so quickly.... I thought we got off to a flying start, but then Shaun just had to open his big trap and comment about how well it was going and gave it the kiss of death!

To be a really useful resourse, we are going to need an awful lot more members to submit their details.......... out of curiousity, anyone who hasn't added themselves to the map care to share your reasons as to why not?

EDIT: Just in case there is anyone left who doesn't have clue what we're talking about in this thread, see this thread: http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=23035
