Not sure on the colours, but each to their own.

Standardise the font. Same throughout, I can see 5 different styles.

Lose the equipment page, punters don't really care about it!

Make the contact us page last rather than in the middle.

Lose the picture on your playlist request page

Clients Comments: Lose the smilies

This is only a quick look.

.

Definitely if you're saying a Kam 1000 pro CD player sets you apart - Mmmm, I suppose it does in a way :sarc:

Gear snob!

Guilty to a point

But come-on, if you're announcing proudly that a certain piece of gear sets you apart from the rest (in a bigging yourself up way) you wouldn't be showing off a Kam 1000 twin CD Player.

OK here goes...

Design/Layout etc.

- overall a nice enough layout/colour scheme
- don't like the navigation buttons - spacing & alignment is very odd - replace with graphic files rather than text?
- choice of font/text colour scheme looks a little dated IMO
- get those fonts standardised!!
- not sure I like the gap between the header and the content
- smileys on the testimonials look pish
- why does 'Home' go to 'Weddings' ?

Content

- copy, grammar and sentence construction throughout is appalling and really lets the site down
- there's quite a few spelling and punctuation errors, too
- don't sell yourself against negatives aimed at others. It sounds really unprofessional - this is a common theme throughout the site
- lose the equipment page or soften it significantly - i.e. rewrite it in punter-speak
- "Tips" page - so many gaffes I quickly lost count - I urge you to seriously rethink most of the content here and also the 'running order'
- "Enquiry Form" - what does 'Need song requests in the playlist' mean?
- "Playlists" page - the first sentence opens with a positive and closes with two negatives - rethink it
- "First Dances" list - maybe it's different in your neck of the woods but I can't remember the last time I played at least 25 of those 30 :)
- ditch the games

Behind the scenes

- I've not checked all the pages but your META DESCRIPTION and META KEYWORDS seem to be the same across all pages - not good for SEO if you want pages other than your index to be visible
- Personally I'd do some work with your TITLEs and META DESCRIPTIONS as in my opinion they're not very good for SEO or representative of what you do

The client comments page has 11 comments from 2008, but only 3 from this year.

I'm just wondering how that might look to prospective clients.

Why not? Your competitors might use Sony Discman's?
