Web design Layout re-design

As part of our plans I will be up-grading our Joomla CMS 1.0 to 1.5 Native. So I thought I would re-design the layout of our website.

I downloaded a Joomla template and modified it to what I am looking for. (Beats hand coding the CSS for the 99% table less website). I purchased pro stock images from to try and deliver the wow factor.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A ROUGH LAYOUT so there will be SPAG etc.

Below are screenshots as it is not live on the hosting server, just on a local host on my Mac.

To me it just doesn't seem very "disco-ey" (is that even a word?). Which is strange coming from me, as my opinion of many is that they are too "disco-ey" and should be a little more "corporate" looking...but I think yours just goes too far that way.

To me it's just lacking that "wow" factor you're after :(
