View Full Version : Pioneer MEP 7000 + DJM 5000 Flight Case

Thinking of buying an MEP and the new DJM. Will need a flightcase for it and am wondering would something like this fit everything?

looking at it don't see why not if you are only putting the mep &djm in,i use a gator case for mine.

You want a minimum of 9U (if not 10U) slant over 2U.

The DJM 5000 has no recessed back for your cables, so they stick out further.

The perfect flightcase is the Pro 770FLT from Pioneer, but its a bit of a beast when fully loaded!

Yeah it'll just be the MEP and DJM I'll be using. I seen the Pioneer case and while it looks superb, I think it is a tad expensive. Think I'm treating myself enough getting the MEP and DJM!
It's hard to tell from Thomann's site what the exact dimensions of the flip up part is. Thay have some nice cases, just need to make sure I get the right size!

Interesting thread, I've just got one (well it's on it's way from the bay :D ) and it's housed in a carpeted flightcase :eek:

I will reserve judgement until it arrives and I've had time to play with the way it is. I usually have mixer and controller otherway round.

Play simultaneous tracks from two CD's.
Impress punters.
Impress fellow DJ's.
Upset Penmare.
