So how many of you kick off yer shoes and DJ in yer socks at your gigs?

I call it going Zola...and I do it every time!

i can imagine how proffesional you look to people when they come up to ask you for requests. Dress trousers, nice shirt, maybe a tie, and no shoes!!

Ive felt like taking them off several times, but would never do it.

Why would you take your shoes off - I don't see the point Ian

On occasion, I have divested myself of various items of clothing over the years at gigs. I don't remember losing the shoes very often. ;) At a recent marquee wedding following a flood, I wish I'd worn wellies! :D

Well...when you weight 20-odd stone and do 3-4 gigs a week, your feet begin to suffer a little. It's amazing what standing on a nice soft carpet can do for your feet.

I often wear Crocs behind the booth as well, when I need to go to the bar or toilet, I stick my shoes back on.

I have plenty of footwear, just no shoes.

You can still have the whip-round if you want though :sj:

Quite a few years ago, I forgot my shoes, so phoned one of my DJs to ask him to bring a pair down for me and he bought these instead...
