As doubtless are the Mods, who seem to be waging a campaign to spell check the forum. ;) :D Don't get me wrong lads, I'm one of your staunchest supporters in this, but does a phrase not spring to mind about attempting to propel very fine silica particles against an overwhelming inrush of saltwater? ;) ;) :bang: :bang: :D :D

Every now & again someone takes a dislike to a smiley & it's either removed or amended...and I guess it was due to happen again.
Looks like we'll all have to use the confused smiley instead of the shrug one from now on.

They get worn out & have to be retired.
If you didn't over use them to the point where everyone else on the forum is sick of the sight of them, I doubt it would happen as much.
Thinking about it I begin to see a pattern emerging. Rolleyes, Shrug & now Confused.

As this seems to be the day for me apologizing, I would like to apologise for using certain smileys more than some people would like.
Maybe the forum rules should be amended to introduce restrictions as to the number of times each member may use certain smileys within a certain period.
I'm really starting to think there's one rule for me on this forum & another for everyone else.

I must be dreaming, because think I've been accused of the over-use of certain smileys by someone who has three of the devil smileys in his SIGNATURE (meaning they appear in every single post he makes)...and that's without all the extra ones he manually adds to his posts.

... and therefore only three smileys used in total, as the signature is dynamically added. Change your sig and look back at even your post #1 and it will have changed there too :cool:

The smilies in my signature are just that, part of my signature.
Yes, the smileys are part of your signature, meaning three of them appear in every post you make...which is a lot more than appear in MY posts!
If you're talking about the over use of smileys, please explain why it's okay to have them in your signature but NOT in your actual posts, because I don't see the difference.

Would you care to go back over your old posts & see exactly how many times :rolleyes: appears & then have a look on the smilie list to see the text equivalent to see just exactly which smilie it replaced & then tell me that.

I would usually reserve this for Mrs DJ (if there are two ways you could take something I said its the good one)
The definition that is really bad is the one it isn't - the other one is the one it is, so to speak.
