Allen & Heath S2 or Pioneer DJM 5000?

I am looking at a second mixer for my rig. I am really not up for paying approx £1500 for a DJM 800 that I originally only paid £700.00 + VAT new albeit a while ago. I have been looking at the Allen & Heath S2 and the Pioneer DJM 5000. Does anybody have any experience on either or both of these mixers? Cheers in advance MAX

I have had a play on the Pioneer and went to discuss it with Pioneer before it was launched.

I use the DJM3000 and will probably upgrade to the 5000 as I don't use the effects on the 3000. The 5000 is well spaced and spec'd including 2 mic channels with effects if you need to do the odd bit of karaoke of put an effect on the mic channel.

I think the 5000 is also 24 bit etc etc

The A&H is obviously a nice bit of kit, but looks slightly squashed together in terms of faders and pots.

If one of those is the model I drooled over at BPM, I'd recommend that type. ;)
