Not happy :(

Ok so yesterday a lady phones up Jordan (DJMeadZ) and asks to book a disco for the 14th December, everything is as usual he takes the booking and details of times and venues and says that they'll hear from us in the next 24 hours (as he always speaks to me before taking deposits etc)

So he calls me to inform me of the gig, all fine i say and he and he calls back up to confirm the booking. Was just speaking to my dad who i hadn't spoke to yesterday turns out the we are going on holiday on the 13th for my Nans 70th :bang: :bang:

So now we somehow have to tell this woman that we can't do her disco, now i know this is my fault and i should've been more organised, just goes to show i really need to buy a diary!! :bang: :bang:

So not only have i lost out on money, i've also let down a fairly regular customer, so to say im :Censored: off is an understatement :(

What do you think i should do? We're going to have to ring and explain, we do have other DJ's that could cover for us, however i'm not sure if she'd want this

I've spent about 2 hours convincing him, however he doesn't feel comfortable doing it, fair enough he's only joined me a few months back!!

Set up a Google calendar and give your mate access to it

do the gig and travel down next day - after all if you mess teh customer about they wont come back to you
