Probably been covered before but cannot find using the search facility.

Can anyone explain the difference between :
Unique visitors
Number of visits
pages
hits

etc etc

My stats show approx 200+ hits per day, but I know (or think I know :D ) this many people are not visiting my site each day :confused: :confused:

Your hits will include search engines indexing your site.

Unique visitors are first time visitors

Number of visits are exactly that.
