Whew. Recently got back from a jaunt up to Cumbria. Justin and I went up to see Andy (Deltic) for a spot of re-distribution of kit. Come New Year, there might be a spot more, if we can find a few more readies. :D :D

Andy was very disparaging about our Sat Nav's chances of finding his house. When it said we'd arrived at his postcode, we rang and asked if he had a white Nissan. "No, but you've got a white escort", he said, as he came round the corner about five yards away. :D :D One nil to Tom Tom. ;)

What a splendid chap, singing off the same hymnsheet I used as a lad, and also knows all the modern ones Justin and I are singing now. Great to put a face to a name, as always. Excellent dinner in the one pub I know in Penrith,

Excellent food,. roaring fire, and Jennings beer. Doesn't get a lot better than that. :beer1: :D

All in all, a successful and informative day out. ( ie, I wasn't driving, and I got two pints of Jennings,

and a Curry. :D :D )

I was nicely relaxed. ;) I'm very worried about Justin, though. On the way there, he said he saw a field full of Ostriches!

Note. He's not mental, apparently.
