Give them a call, they're pretty accommodating. As for the price being a little too much, the covers are a high quality and well worth the price.

Interesting;) they arent as big as my Peaveys.

I asked 4 people for a quote on my UL15s, not because im a tight wad--just you dont always get an answer.:( Wise decision.;)

Responses were--

Cover over covers --I bought from them 5 yrs ago---zilch--- gone out of business I think--- website gone down the Swannee:eek:

Hot Covers--got back after a few days with a reasonable quote--e mailed them on a query--their mailbox couldnt accept my query email:confused:

Pro audio covers--Diana Ross singalong time---all together now--
Im still waiting:bang:

Immediate response --good price had them made and delivered in days--nice job.

I cant explain the problems some people have---im just a customer who wants a good service not necessarily the cheapest.

i make my own covers cheaply and they do a great job.

plastic cover (cut to size) helps waterproofing too.

attach foam or insulation (the recycled itch free stuff) to the plastic

get a single black bed sheet - cut to size

stitch (or gaffa tape) the whole lot together


voila! the best covers since sliced bread - as thick as you want them, and cost about £9 each.

theyre jet black so are inconspicuous in the back of the car, look tidy and professional (...ish!!) and if you ever get stranded in the car - make excellent sleeping bag substitutes!


seriously, you can make some excellent covers for next to nothing with a bit of patience and effort.

i made some for some huge DAP subs and double 8 tops (awkward shapes) in literally a few hours - and they fit great and offer 10 times the protection of usual covers..... i also made a pair for my previous speakers out of a foam mattress topper, but we wont talk about them - they WERE rubbish!! :)

trial and error is the key! :)

I will do over the weekend when I get the speakers out of the lock up - me and my roadie always have a laugh at the daftness of my protective covers!

heres another 'so bad its good' one i use - a real 20p top protective cover for your PAR38 LED lights - these are the KAM ones...


these are quite simply:

1. a blank / used CD
2. wrapped in a piece of material (in this case some left over leather look material i bought to recover some old speakers)
3. glue the cd to the material
4. gaffa tape the edges together
5. attach with elastic band


Bingo! top protection for your lens for less than 20p! The CD fits and covers the lens glass perfectly.
