That the price of many mp3 albums are now a lot dearer that buying a new cd !
was gonna by a album (Pantera not a lot of call for most djs on here) in MP3 format but on looking around is far cheeper buying the cd !!
The MP3 album was £8.49 to buy the cd new inc shipping was £4.99
Seems a shame as have cut my cds as been purchasing mp3s either comp albums or just teh odd track - looks as if I'm gonna go the other way on many cds

Yes, I've noticed that ever since MP3 albums were first made available to download. It's quite ridiculous really, and it shows that the record labels take the general public for mugs.

I've not noticed that MP3 albums are more expensive than CD albums, but I HAVE noticed that lots of download singles are now 99p rather than 79p on the site I use.

Serves you right for falling for the marketing ploy. :p Many are 29p instead of 79p where I go. :D ( and yes, some are 99p :( )
Creature, yes, I've noticed quite a few MP3 albums dearer than CD equivalents. Crackers.

No Rob, you reduce the tax bill in two ways.
Buying four times as many tracks at 29p rather than 99p.
Buying new toys. You should see what's coming soon for the day job. ;) :D :D

At the download store I use some tracks are even free! Mind you, the ones I need to buy are usually 59p-79p but it makes sense buying the album sometimes!

No arguments there. However, it's even better value at £3.97. :D :D :D :D
