Firstly, before we go looking at drivers, what are the cabs you are using

You cant just plonk a driver in a cab and hope for the best. The cabinet has been designed around the original driver so if you were to change the driver you would need to replace it with the same one or another driver that has the same or very close thiele small parameters.

yer i know tom iv got all that sorted just that both celestion and eminence have a driver each which match the parameter i need was just wondering wat are peoples experiences with each make.

cheers diamond geezer but rcf are out of my budget i should of said im looking at spending £50-90 a driver and also i wudnt touch 2nd hand drivers. if any1 has any other makes they recommend that would be helpful.

Can I ask what the cab is and what drivers you have had a look at. :)

Good idea Tom. I'll have a think and see if I can come up with any reasonably priced suppliers of replacement drivers. Hmmmm, tricky that one.
