A couple of the street lights have blown in our road. I went on google only to find that you can e-mail the fault to them - so I did under 'Defective street lighting'.....if your light(s) not working e-mail us.
One of the question was - 'What is wrong with the light' i.e - what fault is there?
My reply - 'Well the post is there but the light don't work!'
....well I found it funny.......:D :D :D :D :D

Tony, I'm ashamed of you. :( :( I'd have expected a reply along the lines of "Well if you want me to fault find it, I'll have to invoice you for that. "

Street light not working....how does a street light not work? The only working part is the light ...The web page directed you to the faulty street lights page....then asked you to give the fault.....

Geddit...:DAhh.... only, the light shade may be cracked, it might light during the day instead of the night (timing problem), someone might have removed the cover leaving wiring exposed, a vehicle could have collided with the pole making it lean (the base of the pole could also be dangerously corroded due to rust caused by dog pee).... but I still get your point :D
