I'll probably see a few tomorrow. Status Quo are playing next door & a large proportion of the fans stay at the hotel & come to my gig after Quo finish.

I'll see if maybe I can get them to beat John & Edward around the head with them if we see them early enough (X Factor contestants are also staying at the hotel as they have previous years & have in the past also been know to stick their heads in)

I quite like the use of inflatable instruments at partys as it injects a bit of extra fun to the event.

Me and my roadie were doing the sound for an Elvis tribute one night and we had a few props with us. On his second spot, he started singing some up-tempo stuff so me and my roadie brought out an inflatable guitar and saxophone and danced at the back of the stage with them. The crowd thought it was hilarious and some even cheered! The poor fella hadn't realised why but took it in good humour when he finally turned around and saw us. Unlike his wife, whose face looked liked she'd been sucking lemons after that! :eek: Still, everyone else enjoyed it!

Not quite the same thing but i threw some glow sticks into the crowd at a 21st last week and they went bonkers for them.

I started getting all sorts of requests for old skool dance anthems :)

There's a time and a place and more often than not I think this type of thing works.
