I think this is a matter of opinion really, I don't see anything wrong with it under the right circumstances. You can still keep an eye on your equipment, and it also allows you to see an hear what your audience can.

I can't imagine that I'd ever do it, but you never know! :)

Only if the crowd is right and the song. Last time I did was Run Rigs loch Lomond. I think they enjoyed it more when I arrived. :D

I would probably decline if asked by a guest but would feel perhaps obliged if encoraged by the client etc.

I'm not one for getting up and dancing even if I have had a :beer1: or two, as i feel everyones watching which may sound strange too some, as I find it easy to be up on stage as a DJ or in the past on stage in a band.

I can't dance thats why I DJ. If they try and drag me out, which has happened, I don't tend to go (even if they are really pretty girls).

Why only the last dance ?......with properly set autocue I'm often found on the floor among the guests.

If I'm having a good time (or at least appear to be !! ;) ) I hope it encourages them to a like mindset :D

I think joining in a 'first dance' might come across as a little intrusive though ? ;)
