Hope you wrote down all the serial numbers as without them it will be hard to prove the items were yours.

I'll keep my ear to the ground, I'll let you know if I find out about anyone trying to offload some cheap gear.
Horrible scum the folks that do this.
What area of Glasgow did you get robbed in?

Seems these guys were on a run, my van was done the very same day in Leeds. I am lucky as most of my gear is insured but the other guys gear i had in at the same time was not.

There looks to be a nearly complete half decent full set up in Keighley on Ebay to get either of you over Crimble.

Thanks guys, but went out on Tuesday and bought new gear to cover me. The chances of seeing any back are slim. The problem with this is you go looking for something and find thats away too :bang:
Bought a DDS80 and ADJ SD Mixer.... and £200 worth of cables. They only took a fraction of my lighting and were kind enough to leave all the speakers!

Might be worth popping your head round Victor Morris or any other of the electrical "Second-Hand" shops. They offer cash for "used" disco gear. Most thieves wouldn't bother with ebay, there's a paper trail. Once found a pile of my stuff at the old General Dealer shop in the East End back in the early 90s that I thought I would never see again. Although no longer there, I'm sure there's a few others aswell as Martin Morris.

Sorry to hear about your gear getting nicked :( Wouldn't it be great if you could some how micro chip equipment and if someone steel's, you could track it down. In fact I'm pretty sure they micro chip cats and dogs and I'm pretty sure that if the animals go missing, they can track them down via the micro chip devise.

if they can fit a tracker to a car,the technology must be there for us to do the same with our equipment.
