What do you think of this light? (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280439041502&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT) Reasonably priced?

Reasonable, though it has been replaced by the Wizard Extreme which is supposed to be miles better. (Depending on who you talk to!)

I have one, and it's ok.. but gets lost in bigger venues, even my 250w halogen spins outshine it. On the plus side, its alot of coverage from just one light, so makes for a quick setup like last night when it was a room not much bigger than a normal sized lounge.

The Extreme is a different beast alltogether and is insanely bright! I'd say just one of these would be enough for most rooms up to around 150 people.

I also have one and it's like Danno said.........Its OK
Weighs a ton, nice gobo's and i got it second hand on adtrader for £100.
So cant complain really, but give me my lightweight LED's anyday.:D

Does anyone know what the differences are between this 1 and the Extreme? Has the Extreme generally got better optics? Better gobos?

The Wizard Extreme is better all round but you'd be hard-pushed to get one for twice the asking price of the Wizard.

Like has been said, though, the Extreme is very bright with highly impressive coverage and one can pretty much be your whole lightshow. They are pretty heavy, though!

Yep, As Danno says, the Wizards are great, but the extremes are much better.

Having said that, since I have had my 2 wizards that is all I have used as a lightshow (apart from a night in York for 750 people).

2x Wizards will do anything up to 150 - 200 people, the coverage on them is immense!

Thanks for the replies. I might ask good old Santa for a couple of Extremes! (Huh, you'll be lucky!)

Happy Christmas!
