Are these as good as they look

Hi people how are you all.
I have just seen this new led water affect light and wanted to know if it is as good as it looks in the video.

If you are thinking of getting one then go to disco world for it as they're having a stock clearance and everything is reduced :D

Discoworld have some good deals but unfortunalty the 2 things I would like to buy, one of these & a haze machine are both awaiting stock strange that ;) and it doesn't say if you order now you will get the good price when they come in.

I presume that nobody has got one of these lights yet then?.

It might be easier for the future to include the fixtures name in the title of the thread. A lot of people probably don't even bother to look with a title like that. :)

seen another version of the AMDJ one worked fine , very bright not sure wether it was a chauvet one or something else , nice effect and was around £180 ish i think brain hurts to much whiskey

I used to have an abyss which is the 250 watt halogen version of this effect. To be honest they are not worth having how many bookings do you want a water effect? They are not really very bright even at 250 watt halogen so not to sure how the led one will compare.

I have an old halogen one and used to use it to light the wall behind me - it was very effective but heavy. Now I use dmx'd par cans.

Yes i have seen the older water affect lights, but this one does look more affective.

I'm quite keen on getting 1 or 2 of the standard H2O Effects to be used with room uplighting.

On Thomann they are doing an H2O effect by Eurolite for less than £50!?

The cheaper one has a 10 watt LED in it and the PRO has a 50 watt so I should think the difference is quite substantial with regards to how bright the units are.

£250 is a bit heavy though for 1 unit I agree.

Yes ive got one, used very rarely (in fact probably only 3 or 4 times since I bought it when released) - they're not all that TBH

Every wedding and the photographers love them, because of the effect on the wedding dress.
