Wanted: Mackie SRM450 or LF driver (12.5") [Archive]

Hi Guys,

Once again another stab in the dark but I either need a replacement Mackie SRM450 V1 for now or if anybody can help me source a Low Frequency driver as my Mackie fell off the trolley last week at a gig and now the LF driver has gone and I have checked doign the various tests.

If anybody can help me then this would be much appreciated as I know its a pain to find a driver to fit as they are 12.5 inches.

Surprised a fall took out a driver. Are you sure a connector hasnt just come loose or that the amp is ok?

Well I did the check on the driver where you push it down and there is a scratching sound coming from the driver. Tom told me thats the voicecoil rubbing on the magnet.

The amp seems to be fine as its running all the HF out nicely.

Just for the record - I have 3 Mackie V1's (possibly all) for sale in the next month -but I have promised 1st shout to someone else with a pair of Mackie V1's. (I've not forgot)

750W - little....no, I don't think so. I've actually seen these in action at HTFR and again heard them over Christmas in a Hilton Hotel. Sound really good......but they look ugly.

He asked me to give him 1st shout....:)
I've also not got the V2's we are moving a bit fast here....

So I also need to hire a room and test both V1's and V2's to sort out what I need......or what to get rid. :)
