I am thinking about buying some of the LD Systems Stinger cabs, the 8" active ones.
I wanted to know if anyone has experience of them, or any of the Stinger range.
Thanks.

I have a LD Systems Dave 15+ system. That has a 15" active bass bin with internal amps for the 2 satellie speakers which are 8".
It's a great little system for most applicactions and can cope with audiences upto to around 100 I would say.
Nice sounding and good value for money.

When you say "good for the money" is that like saying "they are not very good, but they are cheap".
Only asking as I am looking to buy 4x 12" cabs, and 8x 8" cabs.
I will have a listen to some before I buy them, but wanted to know if anyone had any firsthand experience of them.
Thanks for the replys so far.

No, they are cheaper speakers that sound fantastic. I'd be happy to use them for small venues - no hesitations.

Thanks for the reply.
I already have some of the LDE122 cabs, which I bought when I needed some stage monitors. They did the job perfectly and have had a lot of use since as dj monitors. But I was wondering how the passive cabs compare to the active ones.
Is the sound quality as good and are the amps reliable under tough conditions.
Thanksl again.
