bad weather

just wondered if the weather had affected numbers at anybody's gigs
the 40th i was doing tnight the bloke originally came from southend so no family could travel i felt for the guy what a night 13 people
any one played to less than that. not one person danced all night plenty of requests though
god its hard playing to an empty room

Yes, NYE gig, big pub restaurant out in the sticks, 150+ expected, but only 25 or so turned up. I eventually got about 10 up and dancing, but the evening lacked any party atmosphere. It was a long boring night, but quite well paid, the landlord thanked me for my efforts, and apologized for the lack of guests.
