Anyone remember Funk a Duck disco ?it was huge and was about arround late 70s early 80s....or did I dream it?:)

yeah i remember the name. I started out as a roadie working for a national DJ and we came across there posters quite a bit in youth clubs and army bases.

Yes i Remember Funk A Duck Disco I worked with them once At the Aggincourt
Club in Camberley, Surrey. These Guys had such a big rig it tookm ages to assemble & dismantle great bunch of Guys though. Do you Remember a DJ called Oliver Plunket, or Chris St John ?? Thanks Ray

FUNK-A-DUCK Europes largest mobile Disco. Remember it well. I attended an event at the Agora Centre in Wolverton Bucks back in the late 80's incredibly awesome. Can't however find a damn thing on google or even YouTube. If you do please let me know😃

I love how people can drag up threads that haven't been posted on for 5 years as their first post on forums!

But I seem to remember that when I used to attend the roller disco at the leisure centre in Winchester it was Funk a Duck who ran them. Maybe they were a multiple operator outfit?

This place scores very very highly on search engines, so it is not unlikely that we show up in searches. I know we've had discussions start on here, and two hours later, we're top of Google for that topic!

I would be much happier though, if new arrivals posted in the Newbies forum first, or at least very soon after their first one.

We watch a lot more than think (like people who swear blind they aren't somebody else, but then recount the same story as the banned member for example) thread necromancy, odd posting patterns etc. If somebody looks like they are up to nefarious ends, it's not unusual for them to find posts removed, merged, or their post count travelling in reverse.
