Found this on another forum but thought I'd share it.

Suprising if this is correct ?

Skytec passive speakers

Look at the SPL If this is right this seems a pretty efficient cab ? :confused: :confused: Especially as I have been looking at the Peavey Pro 15 and the JBL JRX 115.... max SPL 98

The SPLs shown on that link are not maximums, they are the 1w/1m sensitivity ratings.

What's amusing is the "+/- 3dB" disclaimer.

Although the sensitivity may be similiar to the JRX115, the JBL will be more efficient and dissipate less power as heat. And it will sound much nicer.

My error I was getting sensitivity and SPL confuddled :bang: :bang:

Skytec. Surely that was a clue?

And Tony...or anyone. Could someone put together a guide about SPL and sticky it. You must get bored saying the same thing over and over again, no, unless you enjoy sounding clever?
