Par 56's for sale.

Hi All

I have 8 Par 56's for sale.

They are in two groups of 4 on T bars with tripod stands. I have power distribution through the usual 4 block 3 pin IEC to 7 pin IEC at controller end.

1 spare bulb and a couple of spare ceramic lamp holders.

No chase unit as being retained for use with a set of NJD Quartets.

They have been used about seven times so in good condition bar some very minor scratches.

Would like £150 for the lot.

Neil, sorry to hijack your thread somewhat, but since you mentioned the lack of controller, I've got a couple of Rygers which could be useful to make this a package, if it helps anyone to decide.

I did have an a spare NJD Q Pedal but killed it in a moment of stupidty yesterday. Had just removed the dodgy Triac and soldered in a new one. Right lets just see if it has all worked. Rather than completely rebuild what is a bugger of a unit to take apart I just slotted the bits back in and was to try it without the top on. It was at that point I was distracted by the phone. Came back a few minutes later and though right time to plug in and test. The phones distraction was my undoing. I had left the circuit board for the control buttons out of its slot with solder contacts touching the metal chasis of the unit.

Plugged in and big big bang and then nothing. Bugger unit cooked through major short circuit.

Moral to the story - don't answer the chuffing phone half way through a delicate job!!!!!

...or always double and triple check your work before you plug anything in ;)

Dimmer Packs are available fairly cheap.
If its a basic chase unit the NJD one SC4000e is about £25 on ebay and is a good little unit with two IEC 7 pin outputs in the rear so ideal for this set up.

Yep I have pictures of them. They are on ebay too so you can see a picture there if you like or you can PM me your e-mail address and I will send pictures. I can only post rubbish pictures off my phone on here as I have no idea how to resize proper pictures.

I am waiting for my battery to charge on my camera so I can get other pictures off.
