CD MIX 2 Gone to Sleep

Last night I had to resort to my backup CD player a CD MIX 2 and during a break in the evening it stopped working. I couldn’t eject the tray or play a disc.
I got it working by turning it off then on.

Does anyone know if there is a sleep mode if so how do I get it out of it?
