Anyone know this venue as I am being asked to quote and although its stated to be ground floor access looking at the Hall Website doesnt LOOK very postive about access.

The last place I worked like this---was very old also and for that reason access was very time consuming and difficult including a journey through the kitchens:eek:

Somethings not adding up--there must be another room--ah well just noticed they want a Band so I wont be doing it anyway.

The building's big, but the rooms appear small on the web. ;) Max capacity is 100,that's not a lot.

I often do Angela although its handy if someone can tell me the truth about the particular venue--which hasnt always been the case.:eek:

Its not so bad if its local so a bit more time getting loaded up doesnt matter to me but this is not.

Because I travel long distances I tend to pick and choose the venues I quote on.

As it happens I now find its a Band job.:eek:

I did do a wedding in there with a Celiah band a few years ago and between me and them we took up about 1/3 of the room!

The upstairs room where they eat is big, the downstairs bit for entertainment is tiny though.

I have a client there in March who has asked for 2 speakers and no disco lighting (just uplighting)!

I think last time I was there I did use 2 lights, they were both bolted to the top of the mackies (imposileds).

If I was going again I would only take 1 Wizard I think.
