Upload an HTML file to verify that you own thekilteddj.com
Follow the steps below to verify your domain ownership.
1.Create a HTML verification file named googlehostedservice.html , copy the text specified below into it, and upload it to http://thekilteddj.com/ .

Not entirely sure what you are asking, David, and I don't know how familiar you are with the process but unless the host / provider you are with already offers some kind of control panel or GUI once you log in, you will need to upload the file directly via FTP using something like Filezilla.
I have no experience with freewebs so I don't know how simple that process is.
You can knock up the file in notepad, just remember to add the extension .html before you click save. I'll happily do this for you.

Ok download the google file and copy the code from it and save it on your freewebs as 'googlehostedservice.html' in your root folder is freeweb allow you to nam the .html files.

...I've just seen you've attempted this already, with a link on the navigation bar.
I've just signed up myself, and their doesn't seem to be any obvious way to bypass the 'Site Builder' front end and edit the .html code manually, nor any FTP details - presumably because it is a free account.

As Nathan says, it can be done.
You have to go into 'Settings' then 'File Manager', then you can choose to upload the file to the root folder. Open up notepad, copy the number string into it, save as a .html and then upload.
