How selective are you? Angela has run a thread on the matter, which has left some of us participating in a semantic and linguistical debate. ( Come on Propeller, where are you when we need you?  :D :D )
I have asked Angela about this, and I wish to post a modified poll on the subject. ( I'm encouraged immensely by the amount of Trusselthwaites drinkers on here. ;) )

Oh no, I had someone with a financial and broadcasting background in mind. ;) ;) ;) ( I do hope nobody thinks they've recognised the member in question here. Cough cough, nudge, nudge. ;) ;) ;) :D :D :D :D

So am I Peter ;)
I can understand the limitation of a single pint as, if it's as good as you say, the sheer difficulties of pronounciation would preclude the ordering of a second, :)
One could however take a lead from India Pale Ale (IPA) or Horndean Special Bitter (HSB) and ,when asked by the barman "Are you a TOSR ?", truthfully reply " Yes !!" ;)
:D :D :D :D

I've picked "specialise in afew categories". Until recently I'd accept anything I felt I COULD do...I'd say I was "unavailable for that event" if it was a horrible venue, and pass along to contacts who might be interested.
NOW however, I do not take on disco-only shows, and pass these all along to associates and NADJ colleagues.
Vastly for 2010 and 2011 now I have also sub-contracted the disco part of mosts wedding bookings. I am DJing just at a few shows where co-operative work isn't viable or I really want to do it...

Kernow, I like it. ;) :D :D :beer1: :beer1:
As I keep having a look back here, I notice a trend, broken only by whoever voted to take any and everything. ( which I have to say I'm inclined to be very suspicious of. ;) Even I'm choosier than that! )
The trend is towards extremism, and away from the middle. Either severe cherry picking, or wide acceptance, with the middle being sparsely populated. Interesting.

I voted that I tend to refuse only a handful of gigs. I am a complete whore, and will play pretty much anywhere for anyone if the money is right, but if the money isn't right, I don't want the gig.
