Hi guys,

Mum's friend sent me this video in an email. In short, as not to spoil the video, this lady won Ukraine's version of 'Britain's Got Talent' (that'll be "Ukraine's Got Talent" then! :p ). She is a sand artiste and 'paints' the story of WW2 in Ukraine.

It is done purely by her using her hands to morph the sand into characters and scenery, which is illuminated by a light box.

Let me know what you think - I think it's incredible!

Beautiful piece of work.

Obviously very touching to the Ukrainian judges as Ukraine will have felt the brunt of the Blitzkreig action in the 40's and seen many attrocities both in and out.

The battle of Kursk took place on Ukrainian soil between July and August 1943 being one of the largest armoured and aerial engagements of the whole war and casualaties were horrific. Look it up it as it was immense and incredibley sad.

Nice use of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters from 6:30 in.

Oh and how pretty is she as well as hugely talented.
