Hi all,
Apologies if this has been covered before but just a quick question to all mackie users. I use srm 450's v1 and a single swa 1501 and wondered what levels you set on the volume controls on the back of the tops and the single sub to get the best out of them. I know a lot depends on the acoustics of a room, i tend to have the tops set at 12 o clock and the sub on only about 9 or 10 as i have trouble with it clipping at higher volumes. Thanks in advance.

Kinda depends on what the levels are set to on your mixer bro!

Set the tops Mackies V1's at 12' Oclock - don't know about a Mackie sub but set my Gamma at 2pm.

Hope this helps but then again you may like to try the search button...:D

I use SRM450 v1s and when I use two EVP15B subs with them I have the subs set at 12 o'clock and the tops (believe it or not) set at around 10 o'clock, as the tops are much more louder than the subs.

As last Post 12 O'Clock Tops ( Never go past this) and 1 or 2 on the subs. Should have plenty of poke with that.
