I got this email earlier today asking me if i wish to join the listings on dj direct.

I have never heard of them before

Has anyone else heard of them\been sent the invitation?

I have a free listing on there thats been up for a while, I've had no problems so far. (Spamming etc). I clicked on a few of the other people in my area that were advertising and some of them are members on here so I think personally thats its a genuine site...

We are on it, but we have never submitted our details!

They have obviously been harvesting from other sites.

Ask Toby (Your-DJ) as he is listed on it and he came up for the North West of all places.

They're not going to get an A+ for Geography. Last time I checked, Yorkshire didn't include Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. ;)

He must have ticked a lot of boxes then, cos he came up for Yorkshire, as did some from Manchester, Glasgow, Sussex, and Devon!! :eek: :eek:

I see there are at least half a dozen MDD forum members advertising on that site.

Being free, you have nothing to lose, but don't hold your breath, as I also advertise on there, and have yet to get a hit on my website from it...let alone an enquiry or booking!

Yeah, I've had a listing on there from way back - never received an enquiry from that site that I'm aware of.
