Does anybody know if the rear door on these is a split hinge removable door like the Road Ready version, or if it's a fixed hinge?

I have one and I don't think the door is removable...

I'll have a check this afternoon.

I didn't think they were, but I wanted to check before ordering.

Looks like it'll be the RR one then. Same it's £80 more at the cheapest place I can find them.

Yeah.... it might come to that at this rate, but we're trying to do a hell of a lot atm and haven't really got the time.

   WOW!

Talk about quick indexing!

I'm sitting here and decided to do a bit of a search on google for cases. I popped "11u 4u" into google (UK search only). It revealed 1,410 results, and the second-one down on page 1 of google was this thread!

Yep: that's the case that this thread is about :D :D :D (Ta for the link though Rich)

Ideally, we're looking for one this size with a removable back panel, but they are starting to look like hen's teeth!

Why not buy the Kam Kase then swop the hinge for one of THESE, cost £2.50 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lift-off-removable-slip-hinge-price-per-pair_W0QQitemZ140370343466QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_De faultDomain_3?hash=item20aeb9762a)

We have considered that too, but obviously would prefer to buy one exactly to our needs. (We've got suitable hinges here if needs be, plus rivets, etc, but obviously drilling out a riveted long solid hinge will mean that it needs a bit of tidying up, etc.... but it is a plan!)

I've found a case that is exactly what we want.... but it's discontinued! So I'm trying to track down someone with it still in stock, so tomorrow will be spent on the phone!

split hinge on my 11 - 4u Kamkase- whichn is a pain as it keeps popping open when carrying it in to venues - I'm gonna get a clasp for it..good solid case though.
