Sorry for another Uplighting thread :o :o

Has anyone tried these ??

Similar price to the thomann ones and due a cpc order soon, but just wondering if any known problems.

Not used the lights, but we have some Pulse stands & mic booms, all of which are quite good quality.

At that price they may be worth a pop if you have a compatible controller.

They look identical from what I can see. If I could see the other side ie the dmx connectors and dip switches I could get a better idea but from what I can see they look the same.

Edit sorry they have a master slave function the Thomann ones do not.

i bought some very small par cans from cpc - pulse ones.

they were terrible - they came without a plug for a start and about 6 inch of cable/flex, which was no where near enough.

the bulbs were way too much for the casing to handle and they were immediately roasting hot after a minute.

i got 2 - one broke after 2 gigs and the other on the 3rd gig.



i dont normally give negative reviews to products - but i wont be buying anymore pulse lighting.

I assume the ones you bought were normal parcans and not LED though, right?

I worked on a theatre production last December and we borrowed 8 of these Pulse cans from another theatre. They had a number of LEDs out which suggests the LEDs don't last long. They were used along side two of my own American DJ Par 64 LEDs, and there just wasnt the same "punch" from them. I believe the Pulse cans were Par 56 so I understand they won't be as bright but they were missing something for me. But for the price.....not too bad!!!

i know someone who has them - i wouldnt buy any - they are not great but for £30 they arnt going to last long!

I actually have 4 of these. I bought them before Christmas for uplighting for a few gigs and have decided to use them for most functions i do. So far i've found there great for band lighting, Uplighting and for lighting up the dance floor, next i plan to DMX them:)

To be fair not the best quality as 3 out of the 4 I've had have had dodgy green LED's but for the price there not bad. These are par 56.
