What do you do?

Just curious as to what everyone does with the empty boxes/bags etc when you've set up your kit?

eg Do you take them all out to your vehicle? Do you find an out of the way spot in the venue to tuck them away? Do you stuff everything you can under your stand? or what?

Last night the hotel let me put everything behind a bar that wasn't being used.

Normally I will put stuff to one side, out of sight and harms way. :)

Behind me, under a table to the side if available, behind the S&H or back in the van.

Most of mine will fit under the Deckstand Booth Pro, the only 2 flightcases that don't are my speaker ones, but one stacked on the other is the perfect height as a work surface for my back-up CDs.

Put padded bags etc inside hard cases tuck them out of the way somewhere, if there's anything that's not black or doesn't look tidy put it back in the vehicle.

In most cases I have a table behind me, usually with a tablecloth on, so I just lose them under there.

Normally always back in the car, however will keep the cable back and my 'bits & bobs' box with me, behind me under a black cloth.

Doesn't matter where as long as it's not in view. Like NYE just gone under the pool table they moved to make room for me to set the gear up. If your anything like me a lazy git (and I'm an ex Para I've done my stint humping stuff about) too many trips back to the cars is too much as far as I'm concerned:attn: :) :)

Under normally or if no room behind me with a black cloth over the top. Most of mine pack down into 2 boxes so not to much.

Back in trailer unless they have no table for me in which case my big road trunk becomes my table and just the other cases go back in the trailer.

If it's black and square it's usually easy enough to hide behind the setup, otherwise it's back in the van.

Sometimes there's a handy curtain or a dressing room they can hide in.

Basically, if it looks pants, they go in the van. End of.

Totally venue dependant for me. It has to be a seperate room or cupboard out of the way - the only thing under the console is my Accessories Bag, containing all sorts of bits and pieces including a fire extinguisher. If the venue has nowhere suitable it goes in the back of the vehicle. Most of my bags fit inside the 2 x 525 speaker covers, so can get moved in two swift moves.

great thing about the dsb is the amount of storage space it creates. Anything failing that goes in back of the van.
