Well it had to happen one day. My Acme HP2S died tonight, suspect the heater.
So I pull my trusty £25 Craplins plastic smoke machine out of it's hidey hole under the front seat of the van and carried on.
One thing I did notice was that the refraction laser beams weren't half as visible through the smoke, even though it was thicker, than they are through haze. Is this to do with the smaller particle sizes I wonder?
Interesting observation...
... anyway, if anyone's selling a Neutron let me know otherwise I'm off shopping on Monday

Well, from our own experience, and others observations..... it's not exactly an exclusive club!

Have you seen the latest Pro Mobile?
The QTX FX1000 Hazer (http://avslgroup.com/product/160.451UK) looks like an interesting unit, as does the rest of the range.

Does anyone have a working pump from a HP2s Hazer that they would sell cheaply so I can repair my old one.
Pm me if you have with an idea of price.

Had mine a year now. No probs yet but if it packs up, it's paid for itself and will just get a newun. Cheap enough

Yeah I think you get a manufacturer's warrenty. It's a great hazer, hopefully it lasts a while!

Ah - the power of forethought :)
Big 13th birthday bash tonight, 100+ of the little darlings, and I still haven't replaced the hazer as I'm umming about what to buy.
Anyway, I took the Craplins £25 jobbie again (previously my backup) and lo! for it packed in! Hardly surprising as it had sat in the shed (not the temperature and humidity-regulated garage) for well over 2 years, full of fluid.
Thankfully I had the good sense to throw my Mr Cool onto the van as a spare for the spare. No ice, but no need. I just used it as a smoker. Good job too as it was lasers galore and they liked their club stuff :)
