Hi there,

I am new to these forums and I'm looking foward to networking with fellow DJ's.

I have worked as a club DJ for around 15 years and just recently bought a small set-up which is enough for parties up to 100.

I am based in Maidenhead in Berkshire in the South East of England and available for work. I am happy to work under another banner if any support is needed.

My current set-up consist of:

2xStormbird Moonflowers 150w
1xQuadzilla
1xStar Cloth
Smoke Machine

Numark CDN88s
Behringer 1000 Mixer
KAMKASE

2x Berhringer 450w Eurolive Active Speakers.

I am looking to go digital and I am in the process of transferring music from my CD collection.

I am considering a DDS80 as it will mean I can keep my current set-up and just replace my CDN88s. Can anyone tell me if the DDS80 works better standalone or if it is better with software/laptop? If so, which software would you recommend. No Kareoke or Video at present.

I am a member of NADJ and have PLI and all equiptment is PAT tested.
