Whoaaaa...the memories.
I remember the Citronic consoles, most of which were names after rivers.
I had their "Stereo popular" console back in the late 80's/early 90's.
Fantastic.
Used to hang out at Squires in Manchester every Saturday afternoon, drooling.
And the "What's New" award 2010 goes to ...
LOL, the lasers were available in 2mw or 5mw versions! WOW.

Not trying to score points Rob, but not totally true. A console I used to use in a Hotel could self cue!!!! :eek: Advanced, or what? :D :D

Whoaaa...You've just reminded me of that.
It was something I'd forgotton all about, but I also remember using a console in a hotel which self cued. I guess it picked up the audio, and remember the deck going forwards & then turning itself back having found the start of the track.
If I remember correctly, if worked quite well...but was completely useless with tracks that had a quiet beginning.

Actually, there was. They used to mark the vinyl for the exact cue point. Have a look at some of the old DMC championships vids and you'll see.

We used dial cue. You turned the record forward & back manually until the needle on the level meter just moved from zero. :eek: :D :D
