i dont get any of the other compilations from them nowadays unless its worth buying. The pro disc on subscription (not through them) is the only one i get and thats not brilliant all the time.

At my quiz last night, as soon as I got on the mic to weclome everyone, one of the first things I did was to mention that it was pancake day, followed by some comment about tossers.

I can see why someone might have a knee-jerk reaction after reading the headline....... IF THEY DIDN'T REALISE IT WAS PANCAKE DAY!

However, once you realise it is, I don't see any problem.

But My understanding is that, there is a bit of leg work involved whilst not gigging, like updating music, administration etc - and being self employed, you are not always guaranteed bookings, where's if emloyed elsewhere, you'd always get a wage.
