Hi Guys,

First off I don't know whether this is in the right place or not so please move the thread if it is.

I have an issue with my Virtual DJ which has been happening for a while now but is really starting to pee me off. It is quite hard to explain so I have attached a picture of what is happening.

When I select a song to be loaded onto a deck, it will not analyze the whole track. This only happens for certain tracks, not all. When the track is played, there is no lag and it plays fine analyzing the song as it goes. If I was to play the song right the way through, it would analyze the whole thing. If I was to then reload the song once playing another, it would go through the exact same process again.

Has anyone had this before or have any suggestions to stop this from happening?

I think its corrupted songs, you would be better asking on the virtual dj forum though

I was wondering whether it may be something to do with the files. They all play ok it's just the software I think. The tracks are a mix of downloaded and imported (from CD.)

I get the same issue on pcdj vj
You just have to fast forward the track until the end to get the full analysis.

I dont think there is a fix for this from what ive looked around the internet.

It doesnt happen with v 6.05 of virtual dj, it used to with previous versions but you would be better asking the question here http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/index.html

Ive had this before but always in a live situation so ive just loaded up another track and never tried to actually play it.

i have this as well. I just play the track and it play's no problem.

how big are the mp3s?
this happens to mine when the mp3s are large say more than 7 or 8 mins long.

Well I have now gone through the different albums and have analysed each track which seems to have sorted it ot.
